Songs like "Make It Right", "Fire of Forgiveness" and "Another Saturday Night" offer hope to those struggling with the passions of life. The saga of Johnny and Jenny, possibly his most notable work, spanned several albums and included "The Party's Over" and "The Next Time You See Johnny". The story seemed to take the flippancy of songs like "Jack and Diane" by John Cougar Mellencamp to their natural and sometimes tragic conclusions.
