Margaret Becker
This
US Christian rock singer first achieved recognition with Steve Camp in
1986, singing on a duet with Camp on his One On One album. With her solo
career taking off as a result, she concentrated on a melodic and easily
accessible pop-rock style, dominated by brooding and atmospheric ballads.
Becker has released four quality albums to date, with the vast majority
of the songs being self-written. However, she has yet to make a significant
impression outside the Christian music scene, despite excellent albums
like The Reckoning.
Albums: Never For Nothing (Sparrow 1987), The Reckoning (Sparrow 1988), Immigrant's Daughter (Sparrow 1990), Simple House (Sparrow 1991).
