Rick Cua
Rick Cua, ex-bassist for the secular band The Outlaws, raised the rooftops with his Christian debut. Straight-forward lyrics were combined with unflinching rock and roll that challenged its listeners in more ways than one. In more recent years Cua has mellowed in musical style and moved to a lighter rock stance including more power ballads in the mix spawning the hits, "Keeper of My Soul" and "Somewhere Tonight". Yet, the conviction and the lyrics only seem to be get stronger. In 1994, Cua released SONGS TO LIVE BY, a best of compilation that revived the classic harder rock sound of music's premiere bassist.
