"When the whole world knows, then I'll be staying home." The words, sung softly to his questioning daughter, displays the deepest convictions of music missionary Scott Wesley Brown. His music has come a long way from the classic wedding song "This Is The Day" and "The House at Pooh Corner" (later revised and recorded by Kenny Loggins and Amy Grant). Later years saw him move to the more modern pop sounds of "Yeshua Hamashia" and recent synthesized pop feel of "Marvelous" from LIVING IN THE COMFORT ZONE. Most would agree however, that no artist seems more driven by his passionate love for the One who has called him and the ones he has been called to. And though he loves his family dearly, Brown frequently boards a plane and takes the gospel as well as necessary provisions to places that few people in America know anything about.
