Use Your Illusion III

CD comp. that is pretty good, though a few songs are pretty bad. These are just about gone, so if you do want it, get it soon. Muchacha, Darkbuster, The Chubbies, Kotter, Random 55, Ambition Mission, The Arrivals, Supersleuth, Mary Tyler Morphine, The Repellents, The Tossers, The Dillingers, Knuckleduster, Gorgonzola...22 bands in all. 1000 made $4ppd

Did Somebody Say Rock!?!

Chicago is a city of rockers. This record is a perfect example of that. One song each from Oblivion, Ambition Mission, The Arrivals, and The Muchuganas. All unreleased, all fuckin' good. First Press: 200 on red, 200 on blue, 100 n clear. Second Press aka "Joe Mushugana Press" (available this summer): 166 on black. There are still a few of the 1st press left and after the 2nd press you will never see this bad-boy again!!! $3ppd

KOTTER - The Perfect Day

This 7" is areally damn good. Unfortunately, Kotter is long broken up, but this record has four songs that would make you wish they hadn't. This was emo back when every band wasn't trying to sound like The Promise Ring. This might be the perfect record for someone who was really into Texas is the Reason. 500 on black vinyl with handscreened covers. $3ppd

The Tosser's/Arrivals split

This record put this shabby label on the map. The Tossers churn out a rockin'song about being poor and hating "the man" in their usual drunkened Pogues style that makes you want to drink and dance and drink some more. the Arrivals have two awesome songs that were recorded at a time when they started to give Chicago some competiton for the "Best Band Around" award. I really can't write about how good they are, but you'll figure it out. At least I hope so (for your sake). 1000 pressed on black vinyl. 7 with hand-screened covers auctioned at a show at Wicker Memorial Park. (There are very few of these left and it will not be repressed!!!) $3ppd

Dementia 13 "Do the Snake!"

O.K... You know how there has been a big movement towards dirty 60's garage-rock bands (hello... when was the last time you went to a record store without seeing 64 Hellacopters 45's)? This band has been doing it for a long time and has just about perfected their unproduced, low-fi sound. This is rock 'n roll. Pure and simple. Straight from the basements of New York and onto your turntable. Our first record released in mono. 200 black, 100 red. $3ppd (Released April 2000, but will accept preorders)
