When people hear the word “witch,” they automatically think of a ugly woman with a wart on her nose in a black dress and a pointy hat flying on a broom. Most people think a regular witch is evil.
The Rainbow Witches are not like this. Now, if someone hears the words “rainbow witch” they will probably think of a flitty fairy princess in a pink tutu with a wand. The Rainbow Witches’ problem is that they are neither of these.
The warty -witch half of the Rainbow Witches is their clothes and their transportation habits. They wear the traditional witch dress and pointy hat, and ride on brooms. The broom-riding is just a habit, as well as being done by their kind for thousands of years. And their clothes are simply witch fashion (By the way, witch fashion hasn’t changed much since witchkind began).
The rainbowy half is the color of their clothes, and their young faces. The Rainbow Witches, being the Rainbow Witches, love brightly colored clothes. They each have a particular favorite color. They claim they will die if they aren’t wearing that color, but the fact is highly disputable. The Witches are also fairly young, though they aren’t as beautiful as they say they are.
Now that you know a little bit about what the Rainbow Witches look like, you should know who they are. Reynilda (red) Oravora (orange) Yelana (yellow) Grewena (green) Bluzania (blue)
They are all part of the Starrelin clan. Read the History of Cerenia for a little bit more information about that. Being part of Daronwrath’s clan, and his step-sisters, they live in the castle with him the sorceresses. They practice magic, of course, and their favorite thing to do is conjour up a rainbow (and sometimes a rain shower to go with it).
