A lot of us put flags out........pay respect to those that fought for our freedom by getting together
with family and friends for a big fun picnic or B.B.Q.
All of us like to watch the beutiful fireworks that they have in the towns.
For a special lil treat for your guests Make up some Yankee-Noodle Snack Mix.
It consists of 2 pkg.(12 oz.)chow mein noodles
2 cups dried coconut chips.
1 can(6 0z)honey rosted whole almonds.
20 oz. vanilla candy coating
8 oz. each of the small red and blue and white gourmet jelly beans.
In a large roasting pan combine chow mein noodles, coconut chips, and almonds.
In a saucepan melt the vanilla candy(I use white almond bark) over low heat.
Pour over noodle mixture, stir gently.
until well coated. Add jelly beans. Store in air tight container.
Makes about 25 cups....What we do is buy the lil bags and put a cup in each bag..........Real gooooood.
