The "PUMPKIN KING"
I was inspired to make this prop after seeing a similar display at a Halloween store. They had a figure based on the character from "The Nightmare Before Christmas". It looked great, but of course it was VERY expensive. Since I had been constructing my other props using PVC, I gave this one a shot. The base is covered in foam and papier-mache to look like the trunk of a tree. Standing over 12' tall, the "King" overlooks my haunt. To enhance his appearance, I put a fog machine under the base.
