One Day On The Pond.

One good day on the pond with my 12 year old yellow lab. She has been by far the best hunting dog i have ever owned. I now have 3 other labs, two of which are pups i am presently training for hunting. The pups mom, Coco is a 4 year old chocolate lab who has proven her worth many time in the blind and field. I love labs, they are the greatest pets and friends a man will ever need.

One Great Day!

This day was perfect! Everything came together like it was planned. We should have shot a few more geese, but i really didn't want to clean more birds anyways. I was hunting with Jason Jones in a field we had leased. I had watched several flocks landing in and near this field for a couple weeks. We had long waits in between shots, but it was well worth it. I wish every goose hunt was like this. There is a lot of homework involved to making hunts like this come together, but even then the homework does not always help. It is the chase that counts. Man I love shooting geese. :)

Not A Bad Mess of Birds In One Day!

I shot these birds on the last day of the season in 97'. It was a great day to hunt. I shot theses geese while duck hunting on one of my ponds/swamps. I hope this year we get the weather so i do not have to wait untile the last weekend of the season to get into this amount of birds in one hunt. El Nino Sucks!
