Sunday 13th April, 2003 (I am 15 weeks old today!) |
Well, I have now
been living at my new home in Stoke On Trent, with my new Mum and Dad (Sunny
& John), for two weeks now. A lot has happened in
the time I have lived here. I am now completely 'Toilet Trained',
and when I want to 'Go'. I sit at the kitchen door, quietly, until someone comes
and lets me out, and then I go and do my thing on the manhole cover in the back
yard. I have been bought a lot of new toys, I love
the 'squeaky' ones, but my Mum and Dad don't, so I have to play with those outside.
I had A Big Hide 'Chew Bone', but Bessie has stolen
it off me, and won't let me near it, so I make do with my little 'Nylabone' and
my two balls that I fetch to people, and give it to them to throw for me. I have become very attached to my Mum and Dad, and show my love as often as I can, and I think I have become a much quieter lady - in spite of the fact that I have now found my bark, and love to hear myself, especially if I am let out in the small hours of the night, but my Dad is not too keen, I think! (Dad: Nor are the neighbours!!) I am still in my woolly coat, and there is no sign of my top coat yet. Below is a picture of the Forest Park, where I go for a walk most evenings with my Dad and Bessie |
Hanley Forest Park This is where I walk most evenings with my Dad and Bessie. My Dad told me that many years ago, it was a big Coal Mine, but was landscaped and forested to make a public park of 3.4 Sq Miles. It is only about 5 minutes walk to the City Centre from here, and my new home is only 25 paces from it. |

Please keep coming back here, as I will be adding more news and pictures as time
passes, and as I grow up |

After a long drive to my new home, I have settled in immediately, and decided that
everything in this house needs re-arranging, so I am working hard at moving rugs,
power cords and any thing that moves when I get it in my mouth!!
I have eaten all Bessies food up - she is not too pleased, and growls at me
a lot, but I think that soon she will realise what a nice person I am!
I have discovered that the carpets here are much better than the grass outside,
so I save my pees and poohs until I can get back in the house, and now they
are smelling much nicer. My new Mum and Dad are not really pleased
about this, but I will have to wait a while until they get used to it! |

Nothing much really to report - My human Mum had the cast off her foot yesterday
following major 'metalwork' surgery!), and I have managed to tread on her sore
foot several times now !! Hey, I have just
realised, this is a truly 'International Household, I am a GERMAN Shepherd, Mum
is an AMERICAN from Alaska, and Dad is ENGLISH. |
