Aunt Nettie was my great aunt. She was the "packrat", the collector of the family. All the newspaper clippings, pictures, books, and what-not she accumulated over her lifetime seemed mostly overdone or busy. As I look back now, a few of those items have become pretty important to me. I enjoy taking a step back in time, occasionally, to see how things appeared and how people lived. Thank heavens she had foresight enough to label pictures or make explanations about items she had.
