This is Doug.I am going to tell you how we came about and how we are still together.Back in 1997, around April, I got a call from my friend David Stacy."Do you still play bass?" he asked. I said that I still did and he asked me if i wanted to come down and play with his band. That saturday I was picked up by him and taken down to Marcus Durhams house, where Daniel Dyck and Marcus were already waiting.They showed me a song that they had wrote, i plugged in my bass...and thats how we started...it was that damn easy.Daniel and David were the main songwriters at this point, but i gave a bunch of my songs to them.We played our first show ever at the now defunct Our Place and Cafe,a local place for teenagers.The lineup for this show was Dave-Vocals, Daniel-Guitar, Doug-Bass,Vocals, and Marcus-Drums.
We played many more shows at Our Place and we never got paid...but who gives a fuck about that anyways. We then played a show up in Hazzard,Kentucky.It was the Black Gold festival and we played with our good friends(and label mates) Sonic Assault(now known as The Dipshits.) It was a fun show...but then disaster struck....Marcus had to leave the band.
We played our last show with him at someones house on their back porch..it was quite possibly our finest show ever.
After that, we got the drummer for my first band to play for us. His name was Danny Roberts. We played yet another show with Sonic Assault at a damn small ass coffee/book store.
Danny played 3 shows with us and then we kicked him out due to musical and personal differences. Hes a nice guy, but he just wasnt right for a punk band....I guess he was to good at his instrument.
But during that time we got another guitar player that goes by the name Sara Hopeless. We played two shows with her and now the lineup is this.

Well...thats how it all happened told by someone who lived it.
It makes me sad to think about how good it was last summer and how summer, the time of birth for us, is gone, but another summer is coming up and we have BIG things in plan for this summer so maybe this will be another great year.
