He points out to Dhananjani that if he departs from justness, he would not be excused even if he blamed circumstances. Dhananjani profitted from the discourse and later when ill, sent word to Sariputta, telling of his desire to be born in the Brahma world. Sariputta taught how union with Brahma could be attained and when he died, the Buddha confirmed that he had been born in one of the lower Brahma worlds. |
