Givhans SC/Summerville SC
Palmetto Gun Club offers IPSC, Highpower Rifle, IR 50/50, Defensive Handgun, Smallbore Rifle, Cowboy and IHMSA matches.Palmetto Gun club has two separate ranges about 10 miles apart.
The "Old range" or "Givhans range" is off US 61 in Givhans SC. Turn beside the Fire dept. and the range is 1.2 miles on your left. A
map is available. Cowboy and IHMSA matches are located at the Givhans Range.The "New Range" hosts most other events. It is located off US 61between Givhans and Summerville S.C. take the first dirt road east of the Westvaco facility about 2 miles to the club entrance on the left.
Affiliated Club
IHMSA Smallbore & Bigbore matches are held on the 3rd. Sat. at 10am at the Givhans Range from Oct. through May.

To qualify for Shooter of the Year awards you must compete in 4 SOTY matches.
New IR 50/50 matches to challenge the best rimfire shooters in coastal South Carolina. Shot from a bench and using a target with a 1/32" X ring at 50 yards/meters outdoors, 25 targets are shot in 30 minutes with unlimited sighter shots.
Almost any .22 rifle up to 13.5 lbs. may be used in one or more of the three classes: Sporter (repeater up to 7.5 lbs. and up to 6.5 power scope or zoom scopes may be taped at 6.5 power), 10.5 lbs. class (may be a single shot with any power scope) or 13.5 lbs. class (same as 10.5 lbs. class except weight). The sporter may be shot in all 3 classes. See the official IR 50/50 rule book for details.
The range has 10 benches with a covered firing line.
Located off US 61between Givhans and Summerville S.C. take the first dirt road east of the Westvaco facility about 2 miles to the club entrance.
You do not need to be a member of the club or USRA to shoot in this match.

Highpower
Highpower will shoot the second Sat. except in April each month until July.
Matches will start back up in Sept.
Smallbore Rifle
Smallbore shoots the third Sat. each month through July and it will also start back in Sept. Our April match is a Sat. and Sun. Metric Regional.
Cowboy
Monthly matches on the fourth Sat. of the month.
