Gasoline for your car is NOT too high. It is that the wages are now TOO LOW!!!! I grants you that for what we did for the Kuwaities they shouldn't be pulling this in the first place but when you go by what the wages REALLY were in, say, 1962 and what other prices were then and correct for the REAL inflation rate and look at what the wages then were REALLY worth, gas prices are still lower than ever. ..... What was gasoline in, say, 1962? 25c? 30? In 1962 Hershey bars were 5c, comic books were just raised to 12c, cigs were 25c-30c, softcover books were 35c, newspapers were 4c-5c, a NYC subway token was 15c, and the minimum wage was $1.40. Now think about those ratios. And ponder upon the fact that a quarter was made out of SILVER. As was a dime. And silver dollars, real silver, were still in circulation.

STOP SAYING, "PRICES ARE TOO HIGH".
