April 13 sighting
Frederickstown, Missouri
What might be described as the most nerve-wracking report came from a man who lives near Frederickstown. This man reported that he had always been a disbeliever in the unidentified flying objects until late last week when he arrived home to find his wife on the patio with a pair of binoculars. He said his wife was looking off into a field near his home at a very bright light. He reported taking the binoculars from his wife and viewing what he described as a "very scary sight."
The view he had was that of an object either sitting or hovering just above the ground with a series of red, amber and green lights swishing around it. As he watched a singular red light came into view, circled the object and a white light dashed from the object. The man said he really felt that the red light had been taken inside the much larger white area. Then there was a brilliant flash, almost as if lightening, and the object lifted off and disappeared. "All I can say is that the object was not anything I have ever seen and it really made a believer out of me," the man said.
