In Gulfport, Miss., a Yellow Cab driver told authorities his car stalled, lights went off and radio went dead about 4 a.m. yesterday when he saw a blue oblong object about the size of two cars land in front of him along U.S. 90.

He said he locked his doors, lay down on the seat and then heard tapping on his windshield. He saw a claw resembling a crab claw, and then something that appeared to be a head with two shiny spots and slits below the spots, he said.
