The epidemic of Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) sightings which has plagued southern states in the last few weeks apparently has spread to Ohio.
Officials of the Ross County Sheriff's Office say they received a report Thursday night about a UFO sighting near Chillicothe Tuesday night.
Steve Vogel, of 19 Leeds-rd. Chillicothe, told officers he was driving on Clinton-rd. just outside Chillicothe around 10:30 p.m. when he saw an object in the sky.
The Chillicothe High School student described it as being quarter moon shaped, three or four feet wide, and with a white stipe going down the center.
Vogel said the object followed his car, staying on its right side except when other lights came near. Then, it veered away and came back, he told officers.
According to the report, the object followed Vogel until he reached the intersection of Andersonville-rd.
