UFO Spotted in West Virginia

Beckley, W. Va. (UPI) - Several persons, including a weather observer and a pilot experienced in night flying report seeing an unidentified flying object ober the Raleigh County Airport Monday night.

The object first appeared about 8:45 p.m. and remained in sight for 30 to 40 minutes, according to Howard Moneypenny, weather service specialist for the National Ocenanic and Atmosphere Administration.

"It had no definitive shape and I have no idea how far away or how big it was," he said. "Our visibility was unlimited at the time and there was just no way of telling."
