and REAL race action (SF Region SCCA and NASA autocross events, road races,
and street racing)!

The
pics found on this website will be slightly different that what you see
on other sites, not only in their photographic quality, but also their
subject matter. Unlike all the other websites and magazines out there that
keep taking pics of the same old cars, our goal is to introduce a new flavor
into event coverage of the import racing scene. The majority of the big
magazines and websites out there either post a hundred thumbnails of cars
or shoot pics of the same old cars are every event, with very little firsthand
experience or useful information included. How hard is that? We've found
that most people are sick and tired of that same old stuff. We know we
are! People want to see fresh new pics of the people who attend the shows,
and all the newly done up race cars that haven't made it out to the magazines
or to the mainstream's attention yet. They want to see what's really going
on behind the scenes, what's really going on with the real race action.
It's about time people stop focusing on the all-show gaudy paint job, graphics,
bodywork and vinyl interior cars. It's about time someone educates all
these so-called "kid racers" and young new automotive enthusiasts springing
up all over the place. It's about time people learn the real deal.
Hopefully, by viewing the pictures and reading the comments and coverage found on this website, people will gain a keen understanding about what it takes to build an import race car: the technology, concepts, resources, and the teamwork it takes to prepare the car. Hopefully, people will also develop a newfound knowledge and respect for some of the less-publicized elements of our racing scene.The culture. The heritage. The authenticity. The rich racing history of the vintage Japanese sportscar. There is a whole other subculture within our racing scene that most people do not seem to understand. Or even know about.
It is our goal to provide the best in Import Event coverage, while hopefully touching on some of these issues in order to educate, inspire, and help fellow racing enthusiasts in achieving their goals and completing their projects.
