One of my many hobbies is creating porcelain dolls and ornaments. I own two kilns and create the ornaments from the first step to the last. I buy the greenware for the dolls but I am on my own from there. On these pages I would like to show you a few of my creations. I will be happy to answer any questions about the process.
Shy Violet is a 16" soft body doll. She has porcelain head, arms and legs. She has violet eye shadow and lipstick and her dress is violet with a white eyelet pinafore. Her head tilts to one side and she looks up at you with a shy look. Although she took longer to make she is one of my favorites. Shy Violet is by Kay McKee of Kay's Clowns.
