Still More Dolls!

Shay

Shay is about 20 inches tall. She has bent legs for sitting, an open mouth with teeth and a cloth body. Shay is a Donna RuBert mold and is one of her most popular dolls. Shay was created in all ages ranging from baby to adult.

Emily

This version of Emily is full porcelain. I made her for a friend. Her pinafore is made with four yards of wide uruffled eyelet lace. She has black patent shoes and a purple ribbon in her auburn hair to match her purple dress.

Shay

This version of shay is 28" tall and is almost the size of a toddler. She has a red velvet dress and patent leather shoes. Shay sits in my family room as an accent piece and is my husband's favorite because she looks like one of our granddaughters. She is so realistic that I have actually been startled when entering the room, thinking a child is sitting there reading.

Doll making is not as difficult as you might think but it is time consuming, takes a lot of patience and a lot of supplies. I have developed a page of instructions and a partial list of supplies that I have put on page five.
