Movie Review - One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest

Set in 1965, the movie begins with R.P. McMurphy being sent to a mental instition for disruptive behavior at a prison work camp. Here he meets several eccentric characters, one a man reffered to as the chief, a large indian who never talks. One character Billy, a shy somewhat withdrawn young man, grows an emotional attachment to McMurphy. The story fallows the way in which McMurphy stirs up the water and forces the men to act as, for the most part, regular, adept mempers of society. The main antagonist in the movie is a stern nurse named Miss Wratchet. This movie won several Oscars, the most important: Director Milos Forman, Actor Jack Nicholson, Actress Louise Fletcher, and 1975 best picture.
