I've been collecting postcards for as long as I can remember.
Recently, while digging them out of storage, I realized what a unique treasure trove I have. Much of the city has changed over the years, obviously, and I have the postcards of time gone by. I've put them in 'before and after'.

This is the Erie Public Dock circa early 80's, now called Dobbin's Landing.

This is State Street downtown, also early 80's, before they widened the street. You can see the historic Warner Theater & Boston Store in the background.
Personally, I liked the wide sidewalks, but driving downtown, I see why they had to scrap 'em!

The Brig Niagara used to be dry docked on lower State Street, right before the dock.
