The Foyer

Available in the foyer now, sorry no Frankie's hot dogs or Kia Ora orange juice. But can we interest you in this super CD, 'Streamline Best Un-Herd British'?

Compiled by Dale Olivier of the Streamline club, it brings together 17 of London's best unsigned bands. His own Shy Mongrels score highly with the harmony-drenched 'What a Feeling' and there's also sensitive pop in the Field Mice vein from Big Life Desire and Baby Bird style cynicism from Heavyweight Champion, with their billious effort 'The Houseband in the Pit of Eternal Damnation'. Graham Hughes, meanwhile, contributes the lovely Eric Mathews-like 'Mystery Cure'.

The compilation also marks Matinee's first ever recorded release. We're on there with the song 'Scenstealer' which holds up very well, thank you very much.

It's available from the e-mail address at the front of this site for just £5. US residents, we make that about $9 including postage. Your order will be dispatched on receipt of your cheque/postal order. You can trust us, promise.

Overseas buyers: we could throw some hidden extras into your package if you like (new releases that you can't get over there, etc).
