Highway 61 Great search engine. Looks just like supersearches. Organizes matches by relevence. May match some sex sites.

Ask Jeeves Amazing natural language parallel search engine. Just ask a question and it will automatically search for the answer. The results are grouped by search engine with a menu on each one from which you select a site to surf to.

ProFusion Great search engine. Searches 9 search engines in parallel. Organizes the results removing duplicates and ranking. Also displays a summary for each match describing what the site is about.

MIT geographic nameserver database This server contains mostly information on locations within the US. It uses the information from the geographic nameserver database formerly on martini.eecs.umich.edu. Much of the data is not current, but we do not have anything newer.

Web Robots

People Locators

Switchboard Find a person based on last name (required) qualified by first name, city, state zip. Find an email address based on last name qualified by first name.

Big Foot Find a person based on last name qualified by first name. Find an email address based on last name. Found more matches than Switchboard.

Who Where Find a person based on last name qualified by first name. Has driving directions and a map. Find an email address based on last name. (Apparently Lycos thought this was good, since they bought it.)

The Ultimate Directory - InfoSpace Points to other sites that allow you to locate different kinds of information: yellow pages, white pages, public records, business services, government, city guide, news break and international.
