46th Street - Thriller / Action-Adventure.
Stories with a general mythology background; cover-ups, ufo's, the
odd abduction, lots of running around, chases, shoot-outs.

Anything realting to the possiblity of Earth by colonized by aliens;
whether true or not.
Lamp - Mulder Family Story
Arc.
Stories related to Samantha's disappearance and, specifically, the
Mulder family's relationship to the wider conspiracy.
The Bright White Place - Scully
Abduction Arc.
Stories relating to what happened to Scully during those three months
and afterwards; including post-Momento Mori stories.
Rat-Tail Productions - Humour.
Let's not take it all so seriously; conspiracy stories with a satirical
edge.
These are in turn sub-divided into more specific types. None of the stories are archived on this server (I'd love to but I just haven't got the space).
All texts I've linked to here are story-driven, rather than character driven. I adore character driven stories but this archive is to satisfy a more serious need in me; the reason why I watch The X Files, for the great - and occasionally even believable - web it weaves...
I have included stories where Mulder and Scully get romantic, but only if they first fit the story-driven criteria. I just didn't want to exclude them (so there Mr Carter. I think it can work with romance)
I haven't reviewed or graded the stories because who cares what I think (no offence to anyone else). Grading systems and awards are, to my mind, merely elitist nonsense. We all write for our own pleasure, judging the results (the incredible stories which never cease to amaze, amuse and thrill me) to find a small group's idea of which is the best makes no sense to me. All fanfiction stories are wonderful because people dare to place their dreams in them.
The only rule here is that the pieces are all story driven. I don't care how brutal, violent, angsty, intellectual, political, conspiratorial or erotic they are. Or, for that matter, if they are none of the above they are still more then welcome.
Give me the fruits of your imagination...
