Keni Burke is plaing bass on Sly Stone's "Back On The Right Track"-album
from '79.
The highlight of the album is "From Me To You", it's an instumental and
very bass-driven. The whole album is actually very bass-driven.
A funny thing is the begining of "Shuffle", it sounds very much like
Stivie's "Higher Ground". A curious coincidence...
Dark Horse Records is/was George Harrison's (the beatles) label.
Keni Burke got first singed to it with the group The Stairsteps, which was
a burke-family-group.
The first singel from the album was "Shuffle", it came out 11/10/77. It had
"From Me To You" as a b-side.
The second singel was "Keep On Singing" with "Day" as a b-side. It came in
1978.
The album was released 16/08/1977 (all dates is for the US-releases).
