This is a musical that I just recently saw with Jasmine Guy and Charlotte d'Amboise.
Its a great show.  The dancing is amazine, (Bob Fosse, of course it would be good),
and the lighting is great too...

For those of you who don't know what CHICAGO is all about here's my
small synopsis:
CHICAGO is about two women who are both convicted of crimes...Both women,
Roxy and Velma want to be in vaudeville, so they hire the best lawyer in all
of Chicago to get them out, Billy Flint...Both cases get major publicity, but 
Roxy takes most of it...Both Roxy and Velma fight for Billy's legal attention, 
but since Roxy is the top story, she get's most of it...In the end both aren't
convicted, but seem to be newsline has-beens, but they come through and become
one of vaudeville's best acts....

that's my interpretation of the story, it may not all be there, but i think
i got most of it!!

RENT is probably my favorite musical...I used to say that after every 
musical I saw, but after RENT I did that no more.  I loved RENT because 
of the music...it's a rock opera so immediately i loved it and my 
parents disliked it...also the subject matter was something that 
shocked them at first...Rent is based on Puccini's La Boheme, but 
instead of Tuberculosis, the disease is AIDS...RENT has a diverse 
cast of homosexuals, cross dressers, and heterosexuals...I think those 
things can shock any parent...But besides that, RENT is an awesome 
musical...it's modern, and yound people can love the music, and open 
themselves up to musical theater

A cast of Bohemians in New York City's Alphabet City deal with AIDS 
and love...
That's actually the whole play in once sentence...(plus I'm really 
lazy to think up a whole synopsis!)

This is an amazing show that deals with various topics concerning
American justice, Racism, and Love.  Audra McDonald recently one a
Tony for her performance.  The lead actor, Brian Stokes Mitchell has
an amazing voice.

Show Boat is show that deals with racism and the one element that's in
all musicals, love!....When I saw it I fell in with the characters and
the songs...

I'm too lazy to create a synopsis...as has been the case for most of
