Cusacks - "Pick Me Up At The Station" 7" (Insect Siren)
Third release and first on vinyl for this Columbus, OH band. Three members in this band, and each song has a different singer. The A-side is a super-catchy song that could pass as an earlier Sloan song (OCTA-era), or maybe early GBV. It's a bit lo-fi sounding, with handclaps and a great sing-along chorus. The second song is closer to the Beach Boys or Of Montreal, and the third is back to Canadian rock-n-roll (closer to Thrush Hermit this time). Lots of organs all over this and all on blue vinyl, too!
