If you have visited my introductory page, you probably know all about my children, pets, friends, cars, etc. Now, I'll tell you a little more about me.The name I'm better known as, came from my Dear Aunt Hattie who also used it, and she requested that I be called nothing but that. She passed away in 1994 at the age of 96.
I pray her longevity was included with the name because I really feel that I'm just beginning to live..:-)
(Excuse me for blowing my own horn...but someone has to do it)
I am a warm, friendly person who has shed many tears in my lifetime.
I am honest and loyal, with a great sense of fairness, and a deep compassion for others.
I am also a very sensitive/intuitive person; too easily hurt by others.
I am a kind, generous person by nature.
I'm very protective of those I love, including my pets.
All in all, I am a very sensible, down-to-earth person who will go out of my way to help others.
I had a very rocky marriage which finally ended after a 34-year relationship. I am now a happy old lady who appreciates her freedom from bondage ... literally.
I still have two wonderful children and one granddaughter that I simply adore. Even though they now have busy lives of their own and are unable to visit often, I know where they are if I need them.
I am continually being blessed with beautiful friends on the internet, and even though I live a solitary life, I am content with my pets and of course my webtv and computer that keeps me in touch with many good friends.
~ My PIC below is another one of Angel Blue's artistic wonders. These fancy frames do make a difference.. Although the woman in me doesn't really want to admit it, my appearance HAS changed in the last 5 years, but I am still the same ole Hattie at Heart.;-)
