A Great Day
When I woke up this morning,
I knew it was going to be a
great day.
The first sound I heard was
your
sweet voice followed by the
call
of your warm laughter.
The first thing I saw was your
bright eyes and the smile
that reached from them to
your heart.
The first thing I touched
was your soft cheek and
the gentle curve of your lips
as you greeted the day.
The first thing I felt was
the warmth of your arms
wrapped around me in an
inviting hug.
I knew today would be a
great day..
Because I was able to
share it's beginning with you.
