Story Background of the Company

FRAB Industrial Mechanical Works, C.A., constituted since 1969 in a warehouse of 500 m², ubicated on the "La Yaguara" Urbanization y dedicated since its beginnings to the manufacture of cargo vehicles: platform-type trailers and semi-trailers, van trucks and low-bows, as well as the service and sale of spare parts for heavy cargo vehicles. It have a wide spread and remarkable trajectory at national level by its excellent quality of its products and services.

The company moves on 1979 to the city of Barquisimeto, because of its need of to spread its installations and, in this way, be able to cover the growing demand of the cargo transport market by roads and autobahns. Its remarkable experience along 29 years have made it able of consolidate at national level as trailer and semi-trailer manufacturer that accomplishes the quality requirements and techincal characteristics ordered by the COVENIN rules, including here the air suspension in its transports.

From the technical and financial point of view, the company is considered a medium-class one, with the following characteristics:

• Is an enterprise that relies on the development of the on-road cargo transport industry, representing in Venezuela the 95% of the motorized cargo.
• It holds an average payroll of 25 workers.
• The machinery, buildings and land space, as well as the rest of the active assets that it haves, are of its own.
• Its current average production is 5 monthly units, with possibilities of to duplicate this capacity without the making of new investments.
