What do they eat?
The mouth in several species of Gulper is very large enabling it to eat a fish
larger than itself. The Gulper eel will eat a fish that comes across its path
if it is not to big for it to handle.
Where they live
The Gulper eel lives in the Monterey Bay Canyon. It is typically found
3000 to 6000 feet deep on the ocean floor. The Gulper is native to northern
California waters.
