My Dearest Bliss
My Dearest Bliss

I throw myself at your feet.
take my dagger.
take my life.
to be yours for in this life
I’m bleeding for you.
Spite.
and sharp tongued
--hate me on this day.
still take my life.
You,
like my sweet drug.
come back for more,
and a little more.
but this pains me so
hold my hand
I’ll take your ring
but in this dream,
am I anyone more than I was?
change me shape me mold me,
to your sharpened tongue
obedience means all,
none.
I beg you listen.
I’ve dreamt the words
far from my mouth,
could this be but lust?
I lie not,
and all is lost.
bite and kick.
black and red.
alone I scream
in these dreams:
come one, come all
to this go up in smoke.

This vow I swear to her beside.
of heart and thrown
I give my life.
to you,
not all-
I owe you this.

let the leaves not fall this autumn
yet grieve like this pain.
I’ve earned my loneliness.
(have I forgotten)
but to beg forgiveness and redemption
so shed my blood with your black hands,
silk and satin.
Dream to the moon,
all is lost.
still, pray for that final flame.
hope is all that is left.
