WOLSTENHOLME, Elijah. Born circa 1832 in Manchester, baptised 20 May 1832 at Manchester Cathedral. Married to Sarah Ann Pollitt. Sarah was born circa 1833 in Manchester, died 1909 in Salford. Elijah and Sarah married at Machester Cathedral on 8 August 1858. Elijah was a cooper and it is believed he was the first cooper employed at the Pilkington Glass Works. In 1884 Elijah and Sarah were living at 1 Eldon Street, Salford. Elijah died November 1899 in Salford and is buried in grave square 13, grave number 1013 at Salford Cemetery.

WOLSTENHOLME, Mary. Born circa 1864 in Manchester, no further information is known.
WOLSTENHOLME, Mary. Born circa 1867 in Manchester, married Peter Hunter 4th Qtr. 1887 in Prestwich, Manchester, died circa January 1926 in Liverpool.
WOLSTENHOLME, Henry Taylor. Born circa 1868 in Manchester, died circa 1868 in Bolton, Manchester, no further information is known.
WOLSTENHOLME, Esther. Born circa 1872 in Manchester, married John William Kerfoot Bracegirdle 1 September 1894 at the register office in the district of Chorlton, witnesses Richard Law and Maggie Wolstenholme (Esther's sister). Esther and John William Kerfoot lived at 89 West Union Street, Salford, they had seven children that we are aware of.

WOLSTENHOLME, Margaret. Born circa 1874 in Salford, Manchester. Margaret married Alfred Walton Bruckshaw (who is said to have been the nephew of the Earl of Stamford). Alfred and Margaret lived in Bridson Street, Weaste, Salford, Alfred died in the late 1940s and is buried at Weaste Cemetery. Alfred and Margaret had four children that we are aware of:- John, Alfred, Harold and Wilfred. |
