I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered
me from all my fears.
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and
their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and
saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them
that fear him, and delivereth them.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed
is the man that trusteth in him.
                   Psalm 34: 4-8

When you close your doors, and make darkness within,
remember never to say that you are alone; nay,
God is within...
                   Epictetus

...Bless. What a beautiful word. Lively and musical
and full of joy. And holding within itself one of
prayer's dearest secrets. For the happiest prayers of
all are when we call down blessings on people. Send
a blessing winging their way for no good reason exept
a sudden desire to wish them well.
