What are you trying to do, exactly?
I want to try to show MTV that there are many people wanting their metal back. Hopefully with all the sites like this one, they’ll squeeze in a show like headbangers ball once a week or so. Even if they only showed a few good videos from bands like pantera, megadeth, fear factory, or sepultura I’ll be happy. It just pisses me off that those bands have new videos and I’ll probably never see them.

Where did you come up with the title "The trend is dead!"?
On PanterA’s official live CD, phil talks about all the stupid trends there are and stuff and he starts screaming "The trend is dead!!!!!!!!!" When I was trying to think of a title I was listening to that CD and I decided it would work pretty well if I used it because thats exactly what I’m talking about.

Who are you?
My name is Lori, I am 15, I live in a small town north of Tampa, Florida, and I listen to Megadeth, fear factory, soulfly/sepultura, machine head, pantera, slayer, sevendust, C.O.C., Life of agony, morbid angel, snot, stuck mojo, nailbomb, etc....

Why do you think that MTV is going to show metal? Its not mainstream.
MTV had no problem showing metal less than 5 years ago, why should it matter now? Plus I’m only asking for metal about once a week. I don’t want metal on all the time because then people will think metal is a trend. It is not!! MTV shows a show called "AMP" which is all techno/electronica/rave stuff which is not mainstream at all.

Is it really worth wasting all this time on?
Its not "wasting." I didn’t make the whole website at once. Its not even done yet. Its just going to keep getting bigger. I do a little at a time. And yes it is worth all the trouble.

How many people do you want on the petition? I never had a lot of hits to my site but after some promotional shit I should start getting more visits. So I’ve only had a little over 100 people sign the petition. I haven’t set a certain goal. I’m going to wait and see how many I can get and when I feel like I’ve gotten enough I’ll send it on.
