Personality/Other: note that she is psychic as well as a miko for Hikawa Jinga. She can see visions of the future, and can banish evil spirits with an ofuda and "Akuryo Taisan." This psychic power of hers made her a pariah to other people who feared her "freaky" powers. Rei was very much a loner (due in part to the fact that her father doesn't love her) until Usagi became friends with her. She is sometimes arrogant and is one of the most popular girls in her school because of her haughtiness.
She stated that she would never love a man because if she did, she would want him all for herself, which is selfish. Instead she pledged her chastity to her Princess. Despite their bickering, Rei and Usagi are good friends. Rei has a temper and keeps two crows, Deimos and Phobos, as pets. She is very traditional, but is also an otaku with a massive manga collection.

She goes to the T-A Private Girls School, a private Catholic school (her father pays the tuition). She says her dream is to major in religion and take over responsibilities for Hikawa Jinga, but her true dream is to protect her Princess.
She was in love with a man named Kaidou, an aide of her father. However, her father arranged a political marriage between him and another girl. She was engaged to Jadeite in the Silver Millennium. Her planet sigil, the sign for male (Mars), appears in the middle of her forehead.
