Personality/Other: note her psychic link to Mamoru (soulbond) as well as one to the Senshi. Also, the ginzuishou reacts to her emotions, and is her Sailor Crystal. Usagi is deeply in love with Mamoru (whom she affectionately calls Mamo-chan). But, it wasn't always this way. Usagi kept running into Mamoru accidentally (read: karma) and bopping him on the head with test papers, etc. before they realized who each other was. She did however, find out that Mamoru was Tuxedo Kamen early on, but kept his identity a secret from the other Senshi.
In the Silver Millennium, the meeting between Lunars and Terrans was forbidden by the gods, but Serenity and Endymion fell in love anyway, despite the consequences. Princess Serenity committed seppukku (ritual suicide) when Prince Endymion was killed by a Metallia-possessed Beryl. This seppukku was re-enacted (she even used the same sword!) in the present when Sailor Moon was forced to kill a Metallia-possessed Tuxedo Kamen.
But... reincarnation and resurrection are quirky things aren't they?
Usagi matures quite quickly as the series progresses, but still maintains her positive outlook on life and joie de vive. On a side note, Usagi lost her virginity to Mamoru in Tankubon 5, Act 18 of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon... in fact, there is significant evidence to prove that Usagi and Mamoru are sexually active. He also proposed to her in Tankubon 16, Act 43. They were married in Tankubon 18, Act 52. Oh, and if you don't believe that Usagi and Mamoru... you know... Usagi was pregnant at the time of her wedding to Mamoru. Scandalous! ^_~*

Back to business... Usagi has a tendency to be introspective, and often doubts her own abilities and strength. Usagi seems to be the focal point of the galaxy/universe because of her abilities and possession of the ginzuishou. Her pure light constantly attracts darkness, but she always triumphs. It is said that Serenity's siblings (in the spiritual sense) were none other than her enemies: Queen Metallia, Death Phantom, Pharaoh 90, Queen Neherenia, and Chaos. She also has a way of attracting people to herself.

The people who have fallen in love with Usagi are: Umino Gurio (a secret crush on Usagi), Prince Demando (obsessed with Neo Queen Serenity in *any* form; he kissed her in Manga 6), Ten'ou Haruka (attracted to Usagi; *Uranus* kissed her in Tankubon 8), and Seiya Kou (unrequited love deal; he kissed her once on the forehead in Tankubon 16, once on the hand in Tankubon 17, and once on the lips in Manga 17).
Usagi is also rather protective of Small Lady (her future daughter), and loves her very much. Their relationship didn't get off on a very good start, and Usagi was jealous of Small Lady for a while, but later on their relationship develops into a rather nice mother/daughter one. This means that Usagi kicks ass whenever her daughter and loved ones are in danger.
Her personal guardian cat is Luna, who is somewhat of a nag to her and rather motherly.
Usagi always says that she just wants to be a normal girl, but when she is, she is unsatisfied and feels uncomfortable. Used to go to Juuban Junior High School, but currently goes to Juuban High School. Her family life is pretty stable, though she fights a lot with her little brother (huh, he's a big fan of Sailor Moon, but teases Usagi all the time). Her parents (especially her mother) come down on her a lot for not studying enough. But, her family seems to be rather well off because they own a nice two-story house instead of a customary apartment like most Japanese families have (houses are expensive! There isn't much extra space in Tokyo!). Oh, her father is also very protective of her, and flips out at the bare mention of a boy seeing Usagi (Poor Mamo-chan! ^_^;;). An interesting fact is the Neo Queen Serenity can write very little kanji, and urged Usagi to study harder. She says that her dream is to be a normal girl and a happy bride, but her true dream is to protect the Earth with Mamoru.
It is generally accepted that Serenity gives birth to Small Lady at the age of twenty-two, and rises to the throne/power shortly after. Whenever Usagi manifests herself in her Serenity form, the Moon sigil appears in the middle of her forehead, but it the Moon sigil also shines through her tiara when she first became Super Sailor Moon, and she lost her tiara completely, and only wore the sigil, as Eternal Sailor Moon. This is evidence that as she matures, she becomes more attuned to her Serenity self.

Personality/Other: note that Chibi Chibi is from the distant future, another form of Serenity/Sailor Cosmos. Chibi Chibi has a really good vocabulary, but often doesn't use it. She likes to repeat what others say instead. She has cute, heart-shaped odangos (how she gets them to do that, I have no idea whatsoever) and her hair is dark pink/red. She is about knee-high to Usagi. She provides great comfort to Usagi, who is depressed over Small Lady and Mamoru leaving (plus all the dying the Senshi do in the Sailor Stars acts). Chibi Chibi is rather secretive, and was the one who first found Kayukku-hime and protected her.

Sailor Cosmos... The Sailor Wars

Personality/Other: note that Cosmos is a far future incarnation of Serenity, the Soldier of the Cosmos who despaired in the future and ran away to the past. She thought that she could run away from her problems, but after seeing Usagi in such despair over the deaths of her friends, yet triumphing, Cosmos gained the strength to fight again. Another interesting fact is that Cosmos doesn't bear the Moon sigil on her brow! It has been replaced by a starburst.
