Friday July 20, 2001.

Dave, Shae, Justin and I meet at the track Friday afternoon to setup for the weekend event. All was going well until the rain started. It lasted about two hrs and then we were able to start putting up the walls. By dark we had it almost ready to go.

"Where the FUN was July 21 & 22, 2001!"

Saturday July 21, 2001.

Saturday morning started out nice with a few drivers getting in some track time.

Then came the rain.

Many drivers seamed to be asking for sunshine.

All was not lost for me while it rained. Mike not only setup my 1/8 scale but he also cleaned it for me. Dave felt so good that he put brake shoes on the front of my 1/1 truck while it was raining. (Thanks guys for the help) But, as you can see I was one of the guys helping dry the track after the rain was finished. The rest of the day was really nice.

Sunday July 22, 2001.

Sunday turned out to be a great day for everyone. The rain held off all day and the speeds were up. Mike was clocked on the radar at 59.3 mph and a few others were over 54 mph.

Pit area pictures.

Track pictures.

It is hard to tell here but this driver got all the use out of this tire. The rim is showing in places.

This picture shows the true meaning of "Run the wheels off it" It is hard to see but the pickup man has two rear tires in his left hand. They both belong on the car in his right hand that he has just removed from the track.

Dave and I want to Thank everyone for their support in our effort in providing a Place with the Space to Race and we hope everyone that came out had a GREAT TIME. There will be many more weekends like we just had I am sure and we WELCOME everyone to come out and be a part of the FUN!

A SPECIAL THANKS to many of the drivers!

The following drivers were a great help in picking up the track Sunday afternoon. Ace, Armando, Drew, Freddy, Jason, John, Juan, Justin, Mike, Shae, Otis, Vince and Wes. If I missed someone just let me know. Thanks again Guys.
