If love can make the world go round
                 And conquers all -

                                 It won't be downed

By hatred's blast or envy's beat,
By greed's hot grasp or anger's heat.

If love can prosper sure and sound
                 Despite time's wounds -

                                  It won't be bound

By barrier walls or bolted gates,
By murky fears or mocking fates.

If love can heal the heart's ennui,
                 The soul's despair -

                                Will grant our plea

To banish all the doubt and pain,
And bring us whole to home again.

Then love can let us truly see,
                 Unchain our chains -

                                   And make us free.
