Holiday Jersey Auctions

Below are photos from the various holiday jersey auctions that are done during the 2002-2003 season. Any questions or comments, please email uhlrookie@hotmail.com. Do NOT use these pictures without the permission of the photographer.

Thanksgiving 2002

Skaleski at his first and only PH jersey auction.

Jason Firth does his part for charity.

Kory Cooper, Simon Poirier, Yannick Carpentier, Casey Harris, Jamie Muswagon and Peter Bournazakis auctioning off their jerseys.

Peter Bournazakis looks a little bit embarassed at all the attention.

Jason Simon knows how to raise the bids, take off clothing...(Chris MacKenzie started from the skates up...so they auctioned his first)

Even on the IR Brent Gretzky can still bring in the bids.

Michel Beausoleil looks on as his bids increase.

Casey Harris is enjoying his time on the auction block.

Jamie Muswagon stands by nonchalantly and watches the action.

Wondering where these people are getting all this money, Yannick Carpentier awaits his final bid.

Only in town for 2 games at this point, Ken Eddy still brought in good money for his jersey.

Beacons fans noticed that Rob Montgomery resembles ex-BorderCat Jason Renard, but you can bet Rob's ability to mix it up was the reason he made a nice dent in the Port Huron pocketbooks.

We only lost by one goal, yet goaltender Kory Cooper looks like a kid who is about to get scolded. He had no need to worry, PH fans were impressed by his overall performance thus far, and his jersey fetched a nice amount.

Simon Poirier before.....

And Simon Poirier after...

Thanks to the guys for being good sports and postponing warm showers in order to give away their jerseys in an extremely cold ice rink. The auction raised over $5,000 for charity.

Christmas 2002

In the spirit of the season, the Beacons once again auctioned off their holiday jerseys to raise money for charity.

Beacons lined up to auction off their jerseys.

Doesn't Brent Gretzky kind of resemble the Grinch?

Chris MacKenzie waits for his turn.

Scot Drevitch is always happy to help out a worthy cause.

What is so funny?! Pat Powers enjoys a laugh with the auctioneer.

Bujar Amidovski tries to act nonchalant as people bid for his jersey.

It looks as though Simon Poirier is ready for his close-up.

Kory Cooper tries to keep up with all the bids.

Looking hopeful, Yannick Carpentier is optimistic that people will be generous during the holiday season.

Eric Bowen's first auction was a success.

Marc Milburn helped ensure that the rookie average from the auction was higher then the vets average.
