Rainbow Trout Caught at Loch Lomond

FELTON, CA -- Saturday, May 16th was a beautiful day for trout fishing in the early season at Loch Lomond Recreation Area. Put away the big hooks and heavy sinkers, it was time for #10 dough trebles, rainbow powerbait and sliding sinkers!

Will chased the skunk away just before the first rain sqwall drenched everyone in the early morning.

After fighting many a tree limb (both above and below lake-level) Steve got hot with a pair of standard stockers and before too long, Jack hooked a nice, fifteen inch beauty.

With six on the stringer, it was back to the beach for a late-evening barbeque. Fish on and "good creature hunting."
