The RPI rating system ranks 25 mostly D-III teams based on the RPI (Ratings Percentage Index) used by the NCAA D-I selection committee. The RPI formula for each team is: (.35 x winning %) + (.50 x opponent's winning % excluding games with that opponent) + (.15 x opponent's opponents winning % excluding games with that opponent) Only games against opponents in the 25-team pool are included. Note that I am still including Quinnipiac although they are not technically a member of the ECAC N/C/S. Based on 121 games played through 1/19/98: Rank Prev Pct Opp% Op-Op% RPI 1 1 UMass-Dartmouth .889 .616 .560 .703 T2 3 Quinnipiac .955 .467 .546 .649 T2 2 Bentley .800 .572 .552 .649 4 4 Fitchburg State .875 .500 .535 .636 5 5 St. Michael's .818 .517 .587 .633 6 9 N.
