SPORTSCASTERS WRITE BOOK ABOUT UMAINE ‘99 HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

Authors Rich Chrampanis and Chuck Whitney announce the release of the
book Return to Glory, an inside look at the 1999 Maine Hockey National 
Championship season. 

The Black Bears finally shook off the lingering effects of NCAA
probation to return to the top of the college hockey world. Return to 
Glory chronicles the title run from the season’s first faceoff to the 
championship celebration with a detailed account of everything in between. 

Chrampanis and Whitney covered the team all year long as televison 
sportscasters for WVII-TV in Bangor, Maine. Return to Glory is the
literary result of their hours spent with the players and coaches — what they
said and how they felt every step of the thrilling journey. 

The book will be available to the public through mail order by May 7th.
