The Puck Stops Here (7/10/98).

           Bla, Bla, Bla....

Well, summer's here, Princeton won the ECAC tourney (I'll have ketchup on
that foot..), and Michigan won the Big Dance (Go Turco!), and since Detroit
won the Stanley Cup last night, it seems that the time between now and
October will be very long. So, to keep things interesting, I will just
write lots of drivel when I have a spare minute at my job.

NOTE: Often I will place comments in brackets like this - <> to imitate
HTML code - see below. Just so you know that's what those little tags are
for. As an aside, if you don't know anything about HTML, I suggest you
learn it. I got a great-paying job writing code all day (Well, I don't
write all day, most of the day I read e-mail and web surf), and I learned
it in about three days from "HTML for Dummies". Just thought I'd share.

Another Reason Why I Love Cornell

If you read HOCKEY-L at all, you may have seen the stats compiled (I don't
know when these people have time to do this but more power to them....)on
average seating and capacity for home games. I was so proud to see that
Cornell was sexteenth in the country and first in the ECAC, and over the
entire season averaged 100% capacity. And if any of you out there were at
Lake Placid, I'd say almost all of the fans present for the qualifying game
() were Cornell fans, with maybe four representing the
Tigers. The Cornell section was pretty full especially for a Thursday game
(the band was there, but still, there were a lot of bandies there too).
And it was the middle of spring break!!!

The "I am Pussycat, Hear Me Roar" Award goes to Princeton for their
pouncing Big Red in the qualifying round and their eventual clinch of the
ECAC tournament championship. I get they must have eaten their Wheaties
instead of Meow Mix that day.

Here comes my boss. Stay tuned for my next article when I attempt to
           actually interview a hockey player.
