Minnesota Sports Channel revisited.
I turned off the sound on MSC and listened to a more exceptable KLITE 104
broadcast of the Sioux Gopher game on 1270 out of Bismarck ND (My new
Home). Tim Hennessy elluded to the fact of the bias on of MSC and their
timeouts, which I agree always seem to fall in Doug Woogs favor. Face it
Woog has two lines that can play and 2 others that are not very good.
During the Sioux Gopher games during the third period when Wyatt Smith and
Reggie Berg looked as if they would fall over from exhaustion MSC would go
to a commerical break. Once Spehar, Berg and Smith are through with their
Golden Chocker careers I believe you will see the end of the Woog legacy.
The writing is on the wall. The Gophers are not very good and the Sioux
might have taken them for granted. ItT came back to bite them on Friday
and almost cost them the game on Saturday.
I believe I have lost all respect I had for Tom Reid. I used to think that
Tom was the best of the Mazzco Ried combo but now I might have to change
my opinion of him. Tom made the prediction that CC was the pride of the
WCHA and that they were much better than the UND team. Tom you can not
base you opinion on how bad the tigers beat your pathetic Gophers. CC has
also played more games than UND. UND head to head with CC has not beaten
the fighting Sioux once in the last ten meeting. I also believe that
that the fighting Sioux have been best team of the WCHA for the last
two years. I am not saying the Tigers are not a good team because they
have a nice team I am just saying the MSC announcers are on crack. I also
believe that the arrogance that the MSC announcers portray is being
pickedup by the rest of the league. If confused listen to Hennesy and O'Keefe
they call a much more cleaner game and it much easier on the ears.
Series predicton:
Split in Grand Forks. Gophers lose two in AA.
