The establishment of this new department fulfills a long-felt need. The new MBA Program will be inaugurated on 27 July 1998 by Sri Subodh Bhargava, Chairman, Eicher Group, New Delhi and an illustrious alumnus (1962) of our university. The first batch of 60 students will include 7 students from Rwanda and Nepal sponsored by ICCR and EDCIL. The admission has been offered on the basis of a national test (RUMAT). The course curriculum and other details were finalized in National workshops held at New Delhi in Sept. 1997 and Jan. 1998 and attended by experts from AICTE, Industry and Academic Institutions.
