M/s Jai Prakash Sewa Sansthan through Sri Jai Prakash Gaur (1950), Chairman & Managing Director, M/s Jai Prakash Industries Ltd., New Delhi has made a generous donation for the institution of 7 tuition scholarships of Rs. 8000/- per student per year starting from the session 1998-99 in B.E. courses in Civil (3), Mech. (2), Elect (1), Computer Science (1). This number will build up to 28 in all with effect from the session 2001-2002. For this purpose a sum of Rs. 28. lacs will be donated to the University between 1998 and 2003, to form a corpus from the interest on which the scholarships will be continued. The University appreciated this fine gesture from this illusions alumnus.
